The NutLock is cleverly designed to protect larger outboard engines against theft.  It is suitable for all outboards that are above 35HP and which are permanently fixed (or bolted) to the transom of the boat.

The NutLock is affixed by loosening the transom bolt nut and placing the NutLock base over the bolt. Then replace the nut and tighten.   Place the cover of the NutLock over the base and lock with the key.   It takes about 1 minute to install.
