BIRDSTOPPER was specifically developed for motor cruisers over 30' (10 m) in length but will work on any boat which has safety wires under the guardrail. Most gunwale fouling is caused by birds roosting on the wires. BIRDSTOPPER permanently stops birds roosting on the wires thus putting an end to the fouling problem.
BIRDSTOPPER is easy to install in minutes without tools. It virtually eliminates the never-ending chore of gunwale cleaning and exposure to bird-borne diseases. The reduced need for chemical cleaners extends gunwale gelcoat or paint life and is beneficial to the water environment.
BIRDSTOPPER is silent, almost invisible and works with the boat moored, berthed or under way. It is harmless to birds.
BIRDSTOPPER DIY pack permits trip-line installation on up to 10 guardrail stanchions; sufficient for both sides of smaller boats or one side of boats to 50' (15m). For larger boats or where more than one safety wire is fitted, additional BIRDSTOPPERS are required.
Before purchasing, please note that BIRDSTOPPER is not suitable for boats which do NOT have a guardrail and safety wire(s).

Each safety wire requires an application of trip-line. 12 metres or 40' of trip line is included with each package
