Surf SharkShield

The Shark Shield SURF is a compact light-weight unit designed specifically to be mounted on most watercraft including surfboards,kayaks,canoes and windsurfers.

-                 Approx 8 metre diameter Shark Exclusion Zone

-                  Unit weight under 355gms (excluding antenna – which is neutrally buoyant in the water)

-                  6 hours plus run time!

-                  Mounting plate replaces Deck Grip kicker, so the unit doesn’t interfere with your foot position.

-                  You can still get access to your leg rope plug, or attach the leg rope to the unit.

-                  The Shark Shield™ unit is transferable from board to board. You can buy additional mounting plates (these stay attached to the board) and you can move the Shark Shield between boards

-                  The antenna trails out behind the board but does not form part of the leg rope. We have found that this produces negligible drag as it trails behind the board, through the wake of the board.  It is far less than the leg rope which loops around, thus creating resistance.

-                  Charging will be via mains power.

                    Thee mounting plates attach to the board with an adhesive in a similar way to a deck grip.
