Patchlead connection for reducing coax cable to suit various aircards. Make sure you specify which card you have. Optional connectors are available.

Marine Antenna is approximately 1 metre tall and shows swivel base for flat or vertical mounting. Rail mount base also available as an option.

Technical:

These antennas have a gain of between 2.5 and 7 dbi. The decibel level or gain improvement is logarithmic so a 7 dbi antenna will do much more than a 3 dbi antenna. The actual gain depends on the frequency being used by the modem or phone and this is generally selected automatically by the phone.
Sierra cards, Optus Cards, Bigpond cards and Maxon cards all have different antenna cable connections. We need to know the wireless card you are using to ship you the correct antenna fitting.
You need to tell us how long the cable run is. All cables are low loss and terminated with the correct fittings so it will be "plug and play."
Larger permanent fibreglass antennas require cable to be purchased by the metre.
Performance on sailing boats can be impaired by the list of the boat under sail. Antenna performance is restored when the boat is at anchor.

What to Order????

First determine that your modem or phone has an external antenna jack.

You need one marine antenna (or domestic antenna)

You need to determine the length of antenna cable between the antenna and the modem or phone. (order in 1, 5, 10, 15 20 metre lengths)

Tell us the model of phone or wireless modem you have (Look ont he back.. it will have a brand and model number... we need this)
