Sharper images and Clearer Sound

The image quality of Digital TV is far superior than that of Analogue. In fact, Digital TV's image quality and sound is equal to that seen on DVD. Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound is even available on some programs.

This system will adapt any analogue or single reciver digital TV to a true marine reception television using twin antennas and digital signal processing for a claearer and more stable picture. 

The TV will continue to receive a clear picture as the boat swings when moored and have little or no fade in and fade out of reception.  The audio signal will remain strong.

Stable Images while at high speeds

The image quality will not deteriorate as a result of the Doppler Effect while traveling at speeds up to 120 km/h as tested. This is the result of our unique twin tuner technology. Bluewater Sound has now achieved what was previously not possible with Analog TV where Analog Tuners start to distort and interfere at any low speed.

Versatile and Advanced Programming

With digital TV, currently there is a choice of 19 free-to-air channels compared to just 5 on analogue TV. While on the water, you will be able to watch sports, finance news, general news, children’s programming, and 24 hour weather forecasts. In the future, major TV stations in line with government broadcasting initiatives are working on deploying interactive TV.

NOTE: Best reception wil be obtained with the antennas as far apart as possible.  ie.  6" is too close and 5 feet would be good!
