Anchor Alert is revolutionary in design and function
due to the inclusion of an accelerometer, like those used to trigger air bags,
and a wireless transponder. Both are built into a watertight capsule, housed
inside a specially designed aluminum bronze alloy casing, which is easily shackled between the anchor and
the anchor chain.

On board, the various Displays provide skipper and crew with an ongoing visual
record of all anchor activity. Only if there is movement recorded outside the
sensitivity range you have nominated, will the Anchor Alert Alarm be activated.

Now available in three breaking strengths, 5 tonnes, 7 tonnes and 20 tonnes, and
specifically designed to flow through most bow rollers with ease, the Anchor
Alert easily becomes a permanent, reliable fixture on any vessel from 8 right
through to 60 metres.

Transducer Mounting Options
and Positions:
The Boat Unit Transducer can be mounted in a number of positions, depending on
your personal requirements. It can be hull mounted, using the plastic mount
included with the unit or an optional bronze or stainless steel mount, or simply
hung from the side of your boat. Either way, optimum performance is best
achieved when the transducer beam is not obstructed by a keel or propeller shaft
and there is minimum deadrise angle.
