Dear Scott, just wanted to touch base after purchasing an Aquavolt 8kva diesel gen set from you two years ago now. I have been extremely happy with this unit since I bought it, and it has proven very, very reliable.
I have no trouble running a dive compressor and two air conditioners at once with absolutely no trouble at all. Last year, 2005, we went across to Lord Howe Island on a diving trip, and the gen set was running for 21 days non stop and never missed a beat. Can’t ask for much better than that. We did turn it off a few times just to check the drive belt and coolant levels etc as part of basic maintenance procedures, but this was only for around 15 to 20 minutes.
Thanks again, and I am now looking forward to receiving my desalinator from you. Your help and professional assistance is greatly appreciated each time I speak with you.

SHARKSHIELD SUPPLIED BY MARINE DIRECT! 
I survived a Great White Shark encounter yesterday.
I was spear fishing at Wattamolla Bay NSW with a Sea Hornet Eliminator 5 pronged spear gun, wearing a Shark Shield Freedom 7. I followed the rock shelf on the left side of the bay until I came to the head. It was here that a wall of large fish appeared, seemingly from nowhere and unbothered by my presence. I paused and let my eyes adjust. At first, I thought that they were yellow tailed kingfish but as I looked closer I realized that they were massive Australian Salmon. The Salmon were only feet from my spear gun; I aimed and fired. The speared Salmon took off, ripping the shaft out of its flesh leaving a trail of blood behind it.
The school of Salmon began to encircle me as I reloaded the spear gun. As I put the shaft back on I realized I was completely surrounded by Salmon; nowhere could my sight penetrate through. Even the injured Salmon formed a part of this eerie school. As I looked down to prepare my spear gun, the fish surrounding me shot away. 
Alone in the water I turned my head to the right. Hurtling towards me was a Great White Shark. Almost immediately the shark back flipped underwater. This was at such great speed its body continued moving forward through the motion. With an amazing demonstration of power it disappeared quickly from sight. Fear over took me and I started to swim to land as quickly as I could. Franticly kicking, I knew I needed to calm myself down so the shark would not be attracted to return. Looking behind me, underneath my feet, I made my way the 100 meters back to shore.
Part of me wanted to stay in the water and see the shark again. I had just witnessed it coming full stick and it had to turn away due to the protection around me from the Shark Shield. However, my instinct to get out of the water was too strong. I swam to the closest point of land and walked around the rocks as far as I could. I had to re enter the water despite my new fear, and swim the last leg due to impassable rocks. I warned the swimmers that there was a great white out there.
I feel lucky to have experienced something so amazing and scary and to have swum away from it. I would never enter the water again without wearing a shark shield as I believe it saved me from serious injury. The product works and Thank You. regards, Daniel E.
